Thanks for the report!! I thought I posted this earlier but it never showed up??? I prolly did something wrong, when you said Avery island canal are you talking about the Delcambre?

I used to catch some nice Bass off of the Avery cut!!

the mouth of the canal is the one with those two big poles on each side with rock piling on each side.... but if u coming from delcambre boat launch then just go straight all the way to the mouth of the bay which is where those two big poles on the sides.
