Yes the tag is over the counter and the cost is $586.00

Colorado has unlimited OTC Archery Tags for about 2/3 of the GMU's in the state and this covers ALOT of public land. You can check it out on their website. This is the reason that most people go there because you dont have to enter a draw. You can still enter the draw if you want to hunt some of the more coveted areas that are considered for higher trophy potential.
