from everything that i have read it is pretty much pointless to switch to the 5 if you have the 4s. im playing with my buddy's iphone 5 at work right now and there really isnt much difference between the two after you do the update besides that it is longer and thinner and it is faster.

In my opinion unless you live in an LTE area the 5 is better but probably not enough to go from a 4S.

It shows a small part of the VR through Lafayette but then it has huge gaps north and south of Lafayette. It looks like they released it too soon and didn't get all the bugs worked out.

I guess I didn't check out the vermillion river. When I was playing with it yesterday it had me pegged right under the oak trees at my office. I like the new maps and the turn by turn directions and the 3d view. IN MY OPINION it is way more accurate at giving your exact location. I'm about to drive to Dallas. Ill let y'all know how accurate it is at getting me to my hotel...

I received my I phone 5 last Friday and really like it. I did not have a 4 before this, so I can't compare. A person here in the office has the 4 and says mine is performing so much faster than hers. Not sure bc I never had a 4.
