Good report Ray

Ray was also nice enough to not mention that I set my alarm clock for 4 PM instead of 4 AM. When I called Ray at 5:30 AM he was headed to Calcasieu Point landind. We decided to reschedule.

I was geared up to go fishing and finally decided to try fishing the I-210 area. I tried Lake Charles but only caught one Gaftop and a white trout there. The water was stained but was clear.

I moved farther south and caught a Trout and Red on one point. I tried Contraband bayou.....1 small trout.

I move to the rocks by the casino and caught a couple of Trout. I tried some of the old river bends and caught several more Trout and a few more Reds. I broke off twice when I hooked nice big Reds......I had respooled last week, so the line must have had a frayed spot.

I could see my bait about 18" down in most areas.

I ended up with 6 Trout [13" to 19"] and 5 Reds [17" to 21"]. The fish were caught on several different soft plastic and live bait on the bottom.
