Been so darn busy working here in the gulf, I would welcome a storm just for a few days off.....As long as it does not develop into anything serious of course.

I don't want another Rita or Ike. But I would like a tropical system to dump enough rain to fill the marshes up one more time before teal season. You may think its rained enough already, but I'd like to get some more during the dog days of August.

a cat 1 or small tropical storm wouldn't be bad. I know that it would still mess a bunch of **** up, but it would freshen up the water and make the fishing better.

We don't need a ts all it would do is push salt water in the marshes along the coast.
