La 1 is only one lane headed into the toll area - needs to be 2 right hand turn lanes (one for Geaux Pass only) for a mile or so before the toll area.
My brother waited 35 minutes yesterday as the toll payers had it backed up a long way. Geaux Pass or not, it is a PITA right now. On top of that there were 2 - 3 'toll attendants' dealing with a finicky toll machine. Will not be good until an extra turn lane is built.
