Cheers Saturday Trout Action 5-5-12

Day 1 with James Wheeler, Cayden Wheeler, and Ben Ratcliff got off to a good start with everyone slinging fish in two at a time on the double rigs before the sun broke the horizon. With 25 fish in the box our bite shut down. We moved around finding emerald green water with 4-5 visibility but no current. After hitting several locations we got back on the trout with swimbaits. Everyone in the boat was slinging them in once again. All in all it was a tough day and we had to work for the fish. The majority of the people that fished struggled as there were a handful of boats that did good. The bite was nothing like the two previous days. Most of the trout caught yesterday were at the rigs on minnows. We had a few minnows on the boat but did not get one bite on them. All our fish were caught on plastics. Avocado Matrix Shad, Avocado Cocodrie Cocahoes, and blueback swimbaits worked best. Thanks guys.
