Braided line recommendations

Try throwing a 30lb braid. Has a little more weight and stiffness which will help to keep it from kinking and wrapping up on everything. Also reduces reel hang ups/backlashes. Power pro has a waxy coating (at 1st) and last a long time. I've thrown other rods spooled with 20lb braid and I was constantly getting small backlashes and having to fight it from looping around the eyes while working my bait.

This is exactly what's happening, I'll try some heavier power pro. Thanks for everyone's post

Yep...thats all I throw. The suffix is nice but I keep going back to the original power pro. Used 50lb a few times too just sinks too slow.
