Busting up the Trout 4-19-2012

What a great day to be on the water!! Jim, Chris 'Birthday boy', and Jude Deshotel joined me today to bust up some hogs!! Our first stop was slow only catching a handful of fish, we made a quick move and found the female hogs stacked up!! It was fish on as we had the big girls coming in 1-2 at a time on the double rigs. Avocado Matrix Shad was the hot bait today, as the fish did not want the other baits. Glow/chart Cocodrie Cocahoes added about 5 fish and blueback swim bait one fish. Slow slow retrieve bumping the baits off the bottom is what the fish wanted, and it was a very soft bite. Thanks guys for a very enjoyable day.
