2-4-d is good stuff but its for broadleaf plants and Roundup or generic is good for grassy leaf, I mix the two almost everytime I spray because most places that you spray will have both types of vegetation. You can actually take 2-4-d and spray a yard to kill the weeds (won't kill augastine and other ornamental grasses) out of it, that's what weedandfeed is made of basically.
