Prayers needed

I encountered the same situation a few years ago. I didn't want to go see him and he didn't want anyone to see him so......I broke out the ole' pen and paper and said my goodbyes on it and all our good times etc.....put it in a card and went and placed it in his mailbox.

I did receive a call and was invited over to BS and we never had to touch "the subject" during our conversation because he knew how I felt.

But he did give me a letter as I walked out of his house. I still have that letter in my dresser drawer with his obit. Every so often I pull it out and read it. We never had to say it but knew where each other stood.
