If the fall, I do better on eels or shrimp tails like a DOA.
Later after the shrimp have left the lake, I do better on plastic cocahoes. In the summer when it's hot, I like a gulp swimming minnow. The problem with swimming minnows is that the croakers and pinfish eat the tails off but flounder love them so it's worth the hassle.
