On the Atlas JP - Look at the new Bobs Action Jac -
http://www.bobsmachine.com/
The reason I say that, is I have had 3 Bob's on new rigs since 2006 with zero issues. But my Atlas is one year old and has had warranty work done 2 times, each time replacing the ram and motor (customer pays labor and freight - parts are 'free' from Atlas)
First time the pump would leak down randomly - trailered from Grand Isle to New Orleans - started up and ended flat down. That was replaced. Then that 2nd unit would not trim up over 5,000 rpm (could not handle the torque with positive trim) this time replaced with a stronger motor - so they say.
Will go with Bob's next time around.
