I like the hands free aspect of it but I would like if there was a handle on the trolling motor itself so i could just reach down and turn it one way or the other. yesterday the wind was blowing pretty good so i was working the trolling motor the whole day. there was a few times where i was trying to work my bait and run the motor and before i knew it we were turned around or running into the smooth cord grass. i think once i get used to it i will like it better but for now having to turn it left or right with the remote it a little pain in the butt. sorry for the rant

Minn Kota makes a seperate foot pedal for those motors. If you can get me the model number I can steer you in the right direction.
