Wyatt has had a good last couple of days. The doctors have started him on a modified bolus feeds which means he gets the amount of food he would have gotten in three hours in one hour. This method of feeding gets him ready for the way he will be fed when he comes home. The doctors also lowered his breathing support from 6 liters to 3 liters over the last couple of days. Once Wyatt reaches one liter he will be moved to the last form of support he will ever need to be on. Wyatt continues to gain weight and is currently at 3 pounds 6 ounces! Lastly, the doctors think they are going to move Wyatt to another area of the NICU that is for less critical babies. As you can imagine Jamie and I are really excited about all these developments.
