I believe the silver circle in the middle will determine the direction in which the boat travels. Also, the lever to the right of thr silver circle will make the boat go forward or backwards. Boats are much more efficient moving forward. The closer the lever is moved to the console, the faster it goes.
 Sorry, couldn't help myself! Should just make the boat run shallower. Take the 12 pack and enjoy yalls selves.
