There are no more oysters on the East side of the lake.
I know shrimpers who drag in the lake with 50 ft. boats. Skimmers usually hit the banks between T-Boys weirs and Grand Bayou weirs. It is not unusual, but there are not a lot that drag in the lake. They push butterfly nets in the Old River area and drag in the channel and catch more.
