Default Saltycajun Night Fishing Machine.....

PaulMyers, Sulphite, myself and ckinchen (Chicken) made the voyage to Big Lake last night to try our luck at night fishing.

Left out of Hackberry around 7:30 - 8pm to find the water level lower than normal. Took about 30 minutes to get to our spot, drop anchor and get everything set up and the lights turned on. At this point we took a few minutes to discuss some of the history of the saltycajun and had a lot of laughs, then decided it was time to fish.

Bait was everywhere with an outgoing tide, and southwest wind, the bite was good but slowed a little then the tide turned and started coming back in and the wind picked up some. We fished until approximately 1:30am when the saltycajun number cruncher informed us we had reached our 60 fish. Paul and Casey seemed to pull a few more fish from their side of the boat but me and Sulphite had a few brewsky's on our side, so that's our story and we are sticking to it.

All in all, it was a great night of fishing, established some friendships and had a lot of laughs.....And again, Thanks Casey, the mods appreciated your hospitality.....

No live bait was harmed for the purpose of this report..........

Well, now that you brought it up there was one point on the voyage where our fat butts were moving about the boat to keep the boat moving...

Give me a few minutes to get them up, it takes a lot of time to turn daylight into night for the background.

I think we all had a good time last night. I know I did! Free Line! lol
