Anyway I plan on taking my dad to BL tomorrow to try and convert him from a Bass fisherman to a trout fisherman. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see yall on the lake.

Advice.......live shrimp 18" to 30" under a popping cork.

Normally I would also say......look for birds, but on a weekend there probably would be 5 other boats trying to fish a flock of birds......and then nobody catches any fish and the fish and birds are scared off.

Find a spot away from other boats.....if that is possible.
