a lot of stuff in and around San Antonio, you can go down the Frio River in tubes, the Guadalupe River is tubing and then there is a lot of places to hike and stuff in downtown

Arkansas is nice this time of year, can canoe a day or so and then hit the trout. The Norfork River (north fork of the White River) is one of the best and is not as crowded as the White. Catch a bunch of rainbows, but at night you can catch some big browns. Good hiking trails, not too primitive to be uncomfortable and there is always something to do, horseback riding, or just driving around period. And another vote for San Antonio also

x2 on the Great Wolf lodge. My kids had a blast there. For all y'all renting house boats, please don't allow people to swim under the boats. There's been several deaths caused by generator exhaust filling the space underneath with carbon monoxide.

Default Get away from da HEAT

Bryan,

Get away from the heat somewhere....I am being dragged to Navarre at the end of the month for a week....I would go somewhere where you don't sweat thinking....When you do get weak and decide to go to Grand Isle, let me know if you want to split one with us....We'd definately go....Just know I will be in the bay or in the surf with a rod in my hand while my girls are "SUNBATHING" on the beach....What a waste....I'll be bathing in saltwater and moisturizing with spec slime....Your wife is right...Take them do something they don't do every weekend...Doesn't mean you can't do a little of it though....
