Default Almost a victim

Was doing about 75 down the interstate a while ago and came across this running across the road. Couldn't swerve either way to avoid her as there was a car on my left and a abandoned car on the shoulder and she went right under the middle of my truck. Fearing the worst, I quickly pulled over. Lucky girl didn't even get touched. She was wondering through the swamp and came out stinking and cold and my A/C in my truck didn't help, so I turned on the butt warmer. She had no collar and she's not micro chipped so. She could be a new addition to my family or my brothers if all works out. I couldn't leave her to get hit and become road kill.

I couldn't leave her to get killed. She's lucky those cars were there.

We have a houseful of animals that were abandoned or lost and we couldn't find the owners. I always say that someone up there just knows who to send them to.

Temporarily, Lucky it is until I can either decide if I'm keeping her or giving her to my brother.

I am as well, nothing is more loyal than a dog. They would die for you in a second. Nice job Iron Man.

Cool deal! Put out an apb in the area. Some little kid may be looking for their favorite dog or it may have strayed while training.

Yeah I thought about that. However, there is no one within 10 miles either way. And the swamp there is about 2-2.5 feet deep in this area this time of year. But I'll attempt. A little early to talk about a new home then...

Actually, my mom said her name should be Angel. She sure had one looking over her on the interstate.

Good job bro. That dog, should decide to keep her, will probably be the most loyal dog you have ever owned. Too many people don't realize that animals have feelings also, and you just gave her a home. Once she figures out she's in good hands, you'll have a new friend for life.

nice job helping that pretty beagle.. but please put a lost and found ad in your local paper.. the found ads are usually free or put it in the thrifty nickle. like others said.. beagles are very loyal and she may be missing her owner as much as her owner misses her!

She won't quit following me around. I'm going to take her to the vet today and have her looked over. So that if I can find an owner, she'll go back with a clean bill of health.

Just got back. Turns out she is 4 months old, and had a couple ticks. She got a rabies and heartworm preventatives. Got a couple cuts and scabs from running through the swamp but overall, she is in pretty good health.
