I like metallic blue with 2 silver racing stripes down the middle. But to each his own. Oh and the motor isn't numbers matching. Dad blew the first one doing 120 over some RR tracks in St. Francisville and put a nice big hole in the oirl pan and locked up the motor. All tune up work was done by Al Reteif's shop on 621 here in Gonzales. Maybe I can get him to get us a good deal since him and my dad go way back.

My personal least liked is real high metallics, especially a bright silver. Oh yeah, a true candy color is also something that leaves a lot to be desired!
My cousin does candy for the you know who's and says he hates when he has a high dollar black job..I used to hate it too, when I worked there, one car I wet sanded into oblivion in between 7 coats of just black..not including base /clears.....

Candy is hard but once you get the hang of. WET you should be alright ....there's no perfect candy paint job my cousin says...everyone he's seen he's able to point out imperfections ...

With black you dealing alot with the paint job itself ..then you gotta have major depthness for it to be good---imho..

On older muscle cars nothing beats a metallic pearl job...big on both too. Alot alot alot

dad wants to throw this motor in there and a "badazz" trans, but I said expect to pay almost twice if not more than twice for a "badazz" tranny. 350 with a th400 trans... i think so. this thing will go.
