My partner and I caught around 20 reds on the crabs this past weekend in Delacroix for the LASS tournament. We were on a school of reds in a rip. The current was forcing the crabs to the surface and the reds were smashing them. We freelined some artificial crabs and they were smokin em!

Reminds me of a trip I made a while back. We were fishing in marsh island and they reds were busting on top everywhere. Threw everything at em and they would not eat anything. Noticed small crabs floating on the surface so I used a dip net and caught about 50. Put them on a circle hook with a small split shot and wore out the reds for hours.
