Default Reds and Bass on the Fly

I haven't posted much lately in the way of fishing reports because I haven't been fishing near enough lately. Made a trip on Sunday with my bestest buddy Captain Rocky and we had a nice day on the water. No giant fish but plenty of fun for a Sunday. Ended the day with half a dozen reds and the same amount of bass. Was lucky enough to catch most of the bass and some of the reds on a top water bug I tied!

I was knee deep in wheat. Didn't stop until 8:30. Sorry I didn't call, I was a little tired after a 14 hour day. You know you are my bestest bestest buddy.

Thats a gorgeous bass man! I bet it feels pretty good to catch fish on a bait YOU made; you have to really get the feeling of fooling them

that bass is a definite brag to catch on a fly, June is a excellent month to fish top water for bass because the bigger bass are suspended away from the bank getting them to bite can be difficult. Good Job!
