hell...for the offshore/industrial guys.....THEY ARE ANSI APPROVED...

for offshore..i use wiley x's XL-1's ballistics and ansi also...but with these little gaskets that suck the frames to your face but still lets it breathe...

Got a pair of these laying around IN THE BOX I will let go for $50 if there are any takers.

I have had 2 pair of Costas the first pair I had were green tint and when I went overseas I traded a buddy for a pair of black lenses because green tint was not authoraized. They got scratched up in the sand and my dog ate them later. Got another pair of those tortoise shell with green lenses and liked those for 2 years and..my dog ate those too. Now have a pair of $20 polarized Calcutta I think? They do what they are supposed to do, and my dog has not eaten them yet for some reason?

i got the wiley x's from my podnuh in the marines -wouldnt give me his special forces issued oakleys polarized half-frames..

the oakley's oil drums were given to me by a medic in the army .

i used to sandblast /paint offshore and they wiley x's was nice to have(if it can handle iraq/afghan--it can handle GOM sandblasting...

for anybody that uses sunscreen on their faces.....know how bad it sucks when you start sweating and the sunscreen starts dripping in your eyes!!!

the wiley x's remedies this , ...

either way....i know if something hits the glasses, i know for a fact it aint gonna shatter
