need some help on lighting

if you ever have a wire nut come off. most can lights have a way (3screws) that you can remove and pull the can itself down and access the junction box on the fixture to check the wire nuts. the make poles that extend that you can grab a light 15 to 18 feet from ground.on a seperate note the only thing is if you put can lights above a ceiling fan you will get a stobe look. hope it helps
