Cheers What I learned in 2010...

Just a short, somewhat random collection of thoughts I had while I was sanding on a truck.

Patience is a virtue that I now know I have. I still can never find it at the time(s) that I need it most!

Seeing a baby come into the world is always unique beit the first one or not. I still get chills thinking back on it.

Being in business is like riding a rolocoaster with a lot of twists, turns and loops...When you're having fun on it, it's great!...When you're getting sick from it, you're still strapped to it!

Living with a woman and being married to and living with her are two totally seperate deals! BTW, I really do love being married...Most of the time...Refer to the business thought above for further detail.

From my dad's heart attack I learned that life really is precious and often taken for granted. You just get too used to someone being around and in full health all the time. BTW, he's doing great now days!

In 2010, I have learned that the saying, I believe it was in Proverbs, "Give and you shall recieve" is as real a saying as there ever was!

In 2010, by way of a 7 yr old girl losing the fight with leukemia(sp?), I learned that God is real and that everything DOES happen for a reason. I wish I could find that young girl's family and tell them what reading about her plight did for me. It got my butt back in church and really made me re-evaluate what I have in life.

I learned, again with my dad's deal, that the power of prayer is more powerful than any other force in the world. Thanks to my SC buddies for all the prayers!

I learned that if you measure wealth only in $$$, you are a poor individual!

Last and certainly not least!...

I learned that the crew here at SaltyCajun is a REAL, STAND-UP GROUP OF GUYS AND GALS! The things that we did for different organizations this year and individuals is top of the line by any standard. Beit a widow getting ripped off by a thug pawn shop owner, a charity fishing tournament, CalesCause.org fundraiser(thanks again, Raymond!!!) or Christmas fundraisers, this is top tier actions from real, compassionate people!!!

In closing, you guys are the greatest group of "ol boys" that I have ever met. Thanks for the business you've sent my way. Thanks for helping with the charities. Thanks for praying for my dad. Thanks for including me in this, every step!

Things were great in 2010 and I wish the same for everyone in 2011!

God Bless,
Corey Fisher

Southern this is a great post. I'm so glad to hear about your success in 2010 and that your dad is doing good. Your right the power of prayer is great, and the good lord will never give you anything you can't handle no matter how tough it maybe at the time. To everyone on here have a safe and happy new year.
