its easy to say that I could do 3in groups at 50 yards if I took 10 shots! Most people don't shoot pistols at 50 yards its pointless! POST requires 18 shots at 25 yards so most people trained in pistol defense are trained 25 yards all the way up to 2 yards away. so I call B.S.!!! an expert marksman couldn't do it, I use to shoot at least 500 pistol rounds a weekend and I know I couldn't do that especially with a s/w and a pistol with a 5in barrel unless it was purely an accident. a pistol in a fixed vise couldn't do a 3in group at 50 yards.

I can hit Kentwood water jug at 100 yards with my 44 with open sights. That is propped up but still! Don's judge others marksmanship until you see it happen.

I'm wasn't saying it couldn't happen with any pistol, or any round, I've seen .357 .44, 45 mag with 6inch barrels hit metal plates at long distances. hitting water jugs at 100 yards with a 44 magnum revolver is VERY possible, but there is a big difference in the performance of a .44 mag and a 9mm and your talking about a water jug not a 3in group on a paper target you have more margin for error.
