Henderson is a Mecury dealer, they do work for LDWF engine repair. I seen their boats at their shop in Welsh.
But they have lazy sales people. Hope Chris' salsesman goes to work at Henderson, or he may not do well with them.
I had issues with Henderson when I was looking at a boat.

It was mid 2009. The salesman was never there when I went.
Waited for a call and it never came. I called a few times and finally talked to the salesman, from the Lake Charles Henderson. Asked a few questions and he never got back with me.
I had bad luck with salesmen from a few different dealers when I was looking for a boat.
I have issues with salesmen who cannot answer ANY questions I ask about a boat they are trying to sell me.
I have issues with dealerships who will not let you test drive a boat.
Some guys want to sell on the reputation of the boat, not the service they provide after the sale.

I still love my Haynie and had nothing but good dealings with Chris. I will drive to Texas to get my next one if I have to. His boats are really something else.

That's what I heard too, that he went through several mechanics and couldn't find a good one or make the good ones show up sober.
Not a knock against Chris at all, but I also think that he did so well because of his location, jerry's could make anyone look good by comparison. Nothin against hendersons but I'm not sure how it will work out for Chris, because as some people have posted above.. they don't have a gret reputation for knowledge or service. I sure wish Chris the best, we heard nothin but good about him!

It really sux that a guy puts it all on the line to open a business 7-8 hours away from his home in Aransas Pass Tx and can't find employable people to help. Unemployment is at 17-18% and can't find someone to manage or work on customers equipment. Chris and his wife probably put 20,000 miles on each on their autos since the spring driving back and forth from A/P to make it work. Unfortunetly, he was at the mercy of a $hitty labor force.

Wish him the best

I agree Raymond! I to see when a man puts his neck out like that to deliver a quality service and has to hang it up due to a lack of quality help!...Especially when quality help does exist. Too bad they have other issues that keep them from being dependable!

I hate to see a small business owner shut the doors!
