My wife had sprint when we first met. After having trouble getting signal when we moved in together, she decided to switch service. She called them to inform them of the problem and they switched her number saying that would solve the problem. After about a month she calls them again and tells them not to renew her contract when it came due that the problem had not been corrected by the new number. About 2 months after the contract expired we switched service and ported her number. We received a bill from them in the $300 range saying she was breach of contract and the previous months bill. An hour of her on the phone asking to speak to a manager, I get on the phone and tell them I want to speak to the manager and was immediately put on with him. I had made my wife write down the time, date and person she spoke with on the day she canceled her contract, to which I told him to check his recording and listen to it. When he came back on the phone, he had done some figuring and found that sprint owed us money.

They renew your contract without your signature after the original 2 years is up. Just keep that in mind.
