Default Crowley CCA Banquet

Are there any other Salty Cajuns going to the CCA Banquet in Crowley tonight?

Had a nice time at the Crowley CCA banquet tonight. Did not win anything on the raffle tables (which were jam up awesome). I did manage to snag 2 silent auction items though. THe food was downright delicious and I was served plenty -- about 2 pounds worth I think! Beer was cold and crown was flowing like a river. Nice turnout. Will definately go again next year.

Was the meal awesome or what? Still hurting from trying to eat all of that brisket.

I am glad I was not the only one that ate too much. Damn that brisket was awsome!

the guys put 2 heaping scoops of jambalaya on my plate and then added about 1 lb. of brisket! I ate all but 2 bites of the brisket. Skipped the beans (long ride back to Lake Charles in truck with 3 other pepes) and added 2 slices of bread to the mix. With the 2 crown/7s and the 2 bud 64s I was some kinda stuffed! Those guys could cook.

BTW, that raffle ticket girl was one heck of a salesperson -- took me for $220
