Cheers 4/19/ delecroix

Fist time in delecroix. Went with a buddy who has been couple times. Live minnows on bottom slow to medium retrieve leave it still and they wouldnt hit it 16-19 inch fat specks. Reds were eatin cracked crab and minnows on bottom and pulled some nice flounder also. Couldnt get a bite under cork to save our lives. Tried every color. Specks were in 13ft water. I will be back this summer and see if the wife likes it . Sorry for late report.

Nice report, it is never too late to put up a report that may help out a fellow angler. My wife claims she is going to go with me sometime in May. The only problem with that is the conditions have to be perfect enough to land the space shuttle. She wants not too hot not too cold low winds and biting fish. If only I could make that happen she would not even be in the picture. I would be on the water every minute!

I just left Delacroix. We put 27 trout and left the reds biting. Trout were caught inside but a few were caught at stone island. Reds were thick in Batola on a spoon and spinner bait. Weather was perfect. This is one of the best b-days I have had in recent years.

My wife will fish any weather except lightining. We usually fish leeville and always do well I am learning some back up spots. I have a invite to venice next month buddy has fished it 15 years and I havent been there in 10 so we gonna play down there a little too but leeville is my favorite. As long as she is catching specs (my wife) she is happy which makes me happy.
