There as a lot of difference in the two props. Just wondering...

LOL, with my boat I'm not sure you can call it "hole shot" but it was better, and I didn't have my gps to verify it but the speed seemed better too. Only thing is it may need to be pitched down a little for me, maxed out I'm turning about 4900rpm(the old aluminum was turning 5900) but with a lot of weight onboard. Good thing is I can have it pitched for about 1/5 the price of what I was going to pay.

Yep, it needs to be tuned down some. You need to run at around 5500 rpms. with a 2 stroke Mercury.
But at least you can still fish.

My old alligator/duck hunting boat departed Cameron during Rita. It was found a few months later, under Dr. Smyth's house at Pelican Point.
The boat was upside down, under a bunch of debris. The motor was froze up, the only things I was able to save off of it was the motor cover, foot and the prop. I got rid of everything but the prop., no one wanted it.
It sat in the shed for 5 years. My wife wanted it gone, but I didn't want to throw it away. Couldn't even sell it on Ebay.
My buds and I got a new motor but lost the boat again for Ike. Never found her.
