A few years ago, I moved up from 45 # to 55# thrust 12 volt on my boat. I would have gone a little bigger.....but wanted to stay with one battery.

This is on a 15' aluminum hull boat. It moves the boat fairly good......but when you are trying to get to where a Trout just hit a 100+ yards away....it really feels slow.
