Maybe we've found a subject that W is just not interested in. I notice there's no comments from him. Probably best, tho, since the only thing synonymous with W and turkey hunting is CACKLING.

The three day semi guided hunt is 700 and you can kill 2 birds that includes all food lodging and stuff to that nature. The flight is give or take 400 and the rental car for four guys will be about 100 each. Total I expect to spend around 1,300-1,400 total.

That doesn't sound like a bad deal right there. Pepper, could you define "semi guided"?

I looked on that site. It says a guide goes out with you in the afternoon and helps you roost a bird. Then you go back in the morning and hunt it up bayousef!

That would work for me. If I had a choice between a mouth call and a gun....I'd take the call any day. Just don't think I could sit there while someone else called my gobbler in.

Salty.....I have hunted with a buddy calling and solo and taken Toms both ways. Both are good. With 2 or more people you can combine hunting knowledge. Sometimes one person will hear a Tom, while the other did not. Also locating direction of the Tom is usually better with 2 hunters.
