cant you put him on straight commission basis only.
pay based on the billable hours only and deductions for warranty work basicly turn him into a subcontractor doing extra work for you so interactions are very limited between you its tough man, god bless and I hope the good lord helps keep your blood pressure down because the only way out is to tell him to get out
