Default ethanol test kit

Quote:
I have a ethanol test kit and you would be shocked how many advertise non ethanol and it's in there. Better safe than sorry get the ethanol lines.
Ryan......I am planning to get some kind test kit. What kind of kit do you have?

I was thinking of getting the solution [see link] that you put a few drops in the "gasoline" and see if it changes color. My hesitation, is that if the "gasoline" has any contamination of ethonal, this solution might give a postive result.

The "water-gas mix" test method sounds like it would be a little messy and require more prepration to be ready to test the "gasoline".
