Speculizer, anybody tried em?

Just bought the speculizer, basically a double rig bought from the store. anybody ever used them, had any luck? Fishing in a tourney and won't have time to test it out, waste of money /money well spent?

bought some spoons, chads, minnows, and couple others, any iother pointers?
never ever fished with lures/artificial, always chased the birds and tossed live skrimp at em. help a salty brotha out pleasee
