I am looking at purchasing a steam cleaner to clean the ceramic tile/grout in my home and it got me thinking of other ways I could use the new toy. After watching a few videos of how much crap it gets out of the grout line on floors, I thought it might not be a bad idea for getting tough stains out of the boat. Anyone ever clean the deck of their boat with a steam cleaner?
I'm thinking it may be a good idea since you don't have to use any chemicals so I don't think it will weaken the fiberglass or make it chalky. It may take the wax off the deck so that may need to be reapplied but that's not too big of a deal. Anyone ever done this and has it worked for them? Can anyone think of any reasons why this would be a bad idea? |
