Well with the best of intentions a friend showed up, we went on a beer run, and put some sausage and corn ears on the pit to keep the brisket company. In the excitement I forgot my camera. the brisket is still cooking and we sampled the burnt end and it was amazing the smoke ring is like an 1/8 inch so still needs to go some more.
