Armed robbery
The convenience store around the corner was robbed last night. According to the official police report, a man wearing a bandanna over his face entered the store and demanded money. When the clerk did not move fast enough, the man grabbed her by the throat and began choking her. At that moment, a female customer entered the store. The man grabbed her by the throat and emptied her purse on the counter. One dollar is all she had. By this time, the clerk was dialing 911. The man grabbed the dollar bill and ran out the door. Police identified Artemus Montero from the surveillance video and made a quick arrest.
