anyone else on nights.... im about to fall asleep the first night is always ruff for me

On my first night also and its starting to get ruff.........its worse when your waiting to go fishing when you get off.

when you get off tonight your going fishing......if so you are more of a man than me i'm going in a comma when i get off

I get off at 5am and go fishing til i cant take it anymore, go home get some sleep and do it all over again. its the only thing i like about working these damn nights. i actually went fishing before i came to work.........straight from the lake to work.

every shift is a 12 hour for me......i work what they call a canadian swing shift( i think thats what they call it????) i work fri.-sun. on days, get off 24 hours then work mon.-wed. nights, off 4 days, then work 4 days, off 7 days, then work 4 nights, off 4 days and then it starts all over again. been doing almost 4 years now and still getting used to it.

which plant are you at? i got a buddy that works that shift ( i think) at grace

I am starting 7 straight nights tonight.
I work 8 to 12 noon, sleep till 5 and start 13 hour nights at 6 pm tonight.

That is for the birds man...hats off to ya.No way i could work nightshifts..:shaking:

Yeah i normally go by my real name here at work;) but he was at plant 5 and i'm on the other side of the plant, just tell him i work with Gene Reese, he should know who i'm talking about.
