Good place to eat in Baton Rouge

Good luck and have fun to all the participants in the fishing tournament this weekend. I would love to be there to witness all the excitement but I have a work conference to attend in Baton Rouge.

I'm looking for a few suggestions on a place a group of about 12 to 15 can sneak off and eat some seafood at a mom and pop restaurant on Saturday evening....Thanks..

Sammy's, Jones Creek, or Louisiana Lagniappe. Mike Anderson's used to be good but man it was dirty the last time I was there....

Yea no argument that it definitely used to be better, but its still great food. never had a problem with dirtyness though. Jones Creek would be another great choice.

havent been in a few years but parrains off of perkins was really good and decent prices last time I went. Their house salad dressing is OFF THE HOOK. Its name doesnt sound good, its called jalepeno something, but it is awesome and not even spicy at all

If staying at the hilton, and hungry for sushi, tsunami is right across the street. Lots of good little hole in the wall places downtown. Roux House is another good spot. Just walk around down there! Not too far from there is also Superior Grill - good mexican joint!

Around LSU - Mike Andersons, Chimes, Walk Ons, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Georges (best poboys in town)

x2 on Georges and Superior cant go to BR without those two stops. Parrian's is not bad too. Also if downtown try Schlitz and Giggles for some pizza.
