Which one do you have? I was looking at a few of them the other day but I'm not too sure about the ones with the digital scales on them...

the 15 lb boga can be certified by IGFA its so acurate! Highly recommend it. It is one of the best inventions for fishing in a long time to help you safely (for you & fish) grab fish.

I have the Mustad brand grip from Academy. I haven't used it on any fish yet, but it survived the saltwater in the keys. It's got a little rust in some spots but still functions great. I sprayed some rem oil on the mechanism.

I have a boga and I love it

I have a cheap imitation one with no scale on it.
I don't need a scale. I am just gonna eat the fish anyway.
I am gonna eat till I am full, I don't need to know how much I eat.
