corky hooks
i have some corkys that are brand new and the hooks dont look that good are they strong or do you change them out.

academy in lafayette has some
i haven't seen if they changed the hooks or not from the original

i have found they are good, they will twist a little if you use pliers to unhook but other than that they fine.

cool thanks and acadamy does have a few corkys i just bought a couple pink fat boys

Don't tighten up the drag too tight. Let em run.

I alway fish with a light drag. I find I loose fewer fish.
If I hook a big Red.....might have to increase the drag a little to get him to the boat.
Always keep the line tight.
