Yeh I liked Phil. I started watchin Swords. Not half as good as deadliest catch! Dudes on swords are some punks!

He was not in good health. He went to the emer. room a couple times already.
At least he went out doing what he liked best. Crabbing.

He was my favorite besides captian sig...sucks man...dude was hardcore for sure...but that lifestyle is rough and not easy on your body especially if you throw in how ever many packs of cigs he put down a day!

RIP Capt. Phil.... being a capt. on one of those boats has to be the most stressful damn jobs there is...the pucker factor alone in 40 seas would do me in...add 3 packs of smokes a day and i definitely wouldnt last long..

Yeah, it was fun to watch him and his interaction with his kids was pretty dang entertaining!

It's too bad that he is gone.

I'd sit there and roll at him and the boys fighting...and when they would pull pranks on the other boats...:*****:
