Weekend Fishing Big Lake
 
How was the fishing on Big Lake this weekend? Anyone catch?

Fishing with the wife this week, any suggestions?

Went on Saturday. Had to run around a few storms right before daylight. Only finished with 5. But they were all really quality fish with the smallest being 2lbs and the biggest just shy of 4.

Wasn't good for me either. No live shrimp caught beautiful pogies. Went to washout north cut of West cove.wound up with 2 nice reds. Many big croakers.

Cousin from Sweetlake has been wearing them out as well as all the guides. Said it's been the best he has seen in years. Not many small fish, nice size ones

He says that 15 fish limit imposed is finally paying off bigly

Looks like the guides are catching tons right now down there. Not sure where though.

I think most of the guides are fishing the rocks on the beach when it is calm???
