Report from the V.P. Marsh
 

Me and my friend hunted his field south of Abbeville this morning... no Ducks anywhere we killed one bw teal saw a couple high up but that was it.... We did see a couple thousand geese over the course of the morning not too far above us....too bad neither one of us can blow a speck call to save our lives:cry::cry:

Gonna make another hunt in the morning....and freeze my nuts off again... Something really must be wrong with us Duck Hunters to actually enjoy being out on days like this


ANYBODY THAT HUNTS SOUTH OF ABBEVILLE PLEASE GO TOMORROW....WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO GET THE DUCKS UP THERE WAS NOBODY SHOOTING TODAY

meaux, whos the main guys on the lease down there? Used to hunt on a lease down that way a few years back. We hunted marsh,and right next to us was another lease, a big impoundment pond.

no they own it... it is a big pond used to be a crawfish pond but now just flooded field off pelican rd near Henry south of the Hwy
