I want some BAD... Thats $40 for me to get close to full I might try to get 3 or 5 by my house and some oysters too... or somethin a little cheaper to fill me up

Mediumheavyaction6'6 01-08-2010 10:04 PM

it won't be too long and the price will drop to a more reasonable price. the good thing is Easter is early this year so we will have a few good months after Easter where the price will be good.

Bought 15 pounds at a place in sulphur a couple of weeks ago, costs me $80

In the early 90's we used to go to Ginos in Houma on Tuesday or Thursday night, the oyster special was 10 cents a piece. I can remember my brother eating 4 dozen and a seafood muffaloto with 2 pitchers of beer, he was only maybe 145 pounds.

LaAngler 01-11-2010 10:58 AM

Buddy of mine went caught some last week sold them live just under 3 bucks a pound, maybe 2.75?

best i've had was an outfit out of kaplan possibly gueydan, big boilin trailer.

eman 01-11-2010 11:34 AM
