Wind and more wind/tomorrow

Fished the salt ditch on the way to black lake this afternoon, one flounder and missed a few more. Dead shrimp on popping cork. Did all we could to keep out of the wind. Wind looks perfect tomorrow and I really want to put my dad on some fish. Any advice?

Not sure what the water is like in the lake right now, but if the water is salty enough I'd start in turners bay tomorrow

Thanks brother! I was planning on doing that, just thought the water might be fresh in the north side of the lake.

It's April

We have been canceling a lot of trips so far this month and looks like it's going to be a few more by months end

But I rather my customers have a good day of fishing and fighting winds are never fun

Started at Turners, picked up 4 nice specs until it got a little choppy. moved south looking for clearer water. No luck at any weirs or jetties. Back to Turners, picked up a few more around the island. Shutoff completely at 2. All on love shrimp.

Thanks for the report. Not a bad day considering the conditions.
